Our commitment to greater sustainability is reflected in the modernization of the existing solar system on the roof of our company headquarters. With this step, we are making a significant contribution to more environmentally friendly business practices.
Step 1: Updating the existing system
The first step towards modernization was to replace the existing solar system with state-of-the-art solar panels. This will generate 4.8 kilowatt peak (KWp). This milestone has already been achieved and forms the basis for further sustainable steps.
Step 2: Expansion of the system by a further 12 KWp
After successfully updating the existing system, the second step followed – the new construction to increase the capacity to an impressive 16.8 KWp. This expansion not only significantly increases our energy production, but also intensifies our contribution to reducing our ecological footprint.
Outlook for step 3: Focus on year-round self-sufficiency
Looking to the future, we are planning the third step of our modernization in 2024 – expanding the system to 28 KWp in order to achieve an impressive 85% year-round self-sufficiency. This step underlines our commitment to sustainable energy sources and our efforts to become less dependent on external energy sources. Overall, the modernization of our solar plant represents a significant step towards more sustainable business management. By using state-of-the-art technologies, we are not only strengthening our own energy infrastructure, but also actively contributing to environmental protection.
